La principal novedad de Jaguar en el Salón del Automóvil de París que comienza en solo unas horas debería ser el Jaguar F-Type, el nuevo modelo deportivo que llega para complementar a los XK. Hablo en pasado porque a la vista de las filtraciones de imágenes de los últimos días, ya no hay mucho que ver y saber de él.
Hoy se han filtrado a través de algunas webs las imágenes en movimiento del nuevo modelo, siendo esta la primera vez que se ve la trasera del coche y el interior. La zaga tiene unas formas bastante peculiares con unas ópticas de formas horizontales y afiladas, que le dan un aspecto muy fino en la vista posterior.
Por lo demás el coche se ve muy ágil y ligero, al menos en apariencia. Me recuerda más a un Porsche Boxster que a su hermano mayor el XK y eso es sin duda un buen síntoma sabiendo lo pesado y grande que es este.

La gama de motores del Jaguar F-Type constará de un V6 de 3 litros con compresor que desarrollará 340 CV y 450 Nm, seguido de una evolución de éste, con 380 CV y 460 Nm de par motor máximo. Además, Jaguar ofrecerá el F-Type también con un V8 de 5 litros sobrealimentado de entre 495 CV.
