El fabricante británico Rolls-Royce, que vende gran parte de sus vehículos en el mercado asiático, celebra el centenario de su participación en el decimotercero Alpine Trial presentando en el Salón de Shangai un Rolls-Royce Ghost Alpine Trial Centenary Edition.
Este modelo conmemora el hecho de que la compañía completara los 2929 kilómetros de la mítica prueba hace ya un siglo, y toma inspiración del vehículo que condujo James Radley en dicha carrera. El resultado es un Ghost con carrocería bitono y tanto llantas como parrilla de color negro.
El interior también conmemora el histórico rally con una inserción en el salpicadero que muestra la topografía y las distancias de la ruta, así como un reloj modificado que ofrece el tiempo de cada etapa de la carrera original o mesitas de picnic traseras.
Esta edición especial del Rolls-Royce Ghost se unirá al vehículo clásico de Radley en una recreación del Alpine Trial que tendrá lugar el próximo día 14 de Junio en la capital austríaca, Viena.
