Antes del estreno a la prensa del Jaguar F-Type (http://www.motorpasion.com/deportivos/jaguar-f-type-2) supimos que habría dos versiones, un roadster y un coupé. El primero ya está a la venta, el segundo hará aparición el año que viene. Según los datos de una oficina de patentes, el diseño será más o menos así. Precioso.
Lo lógico es pensar que tendrá las mismas motorizaciones que su hermano descapotable, dos V6 y un V8 sobrealimentados. Se especula también con un modelo básico con motor 2.0 L4, también sobrealimentado y con 240 CV, que Jaguar Land Rover heredó de Ford. Es uno de los motores del Range Rover Evoque (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/todoterrenos/range-rover-evoque).
Los rasgos de diseño nos deberían sonar, vienen del Jaguar C-X16 Concept (http://www.motorpasion.com/salones-del-automovil/jaguar-c-x16-todos-los-datos-e-imagenes-oficiales) visto hace dos años. La trayectoria de Jaguar en los últimos años es apasionante, la entrada de capital hindú en la empresa está dando muchas satisfacciones, y las que les quedan por dar. Ahora la espera se hará más angustiosa aún.
