Aunque hace unas semanas conocímos que el BMW M3 Coupé E92 se había dejado ya de fabricar (http://www.motorpasion.com/bmw/adios-bmw-m3-coupe), todavía hay preparadores como Alpha-N Performance dispuestos a darle una vuelta de tuerca más a este deportivo alemán con motor V8 de giro rápido de 4.0 litros de cilindrada y 420 CV de potencia.
Aumentando la cilindrada de 4.0 a 4.6 litros, Alpha-N consigue un aumento de potencia hasta los 490 CV y 70 Nm extra de par, hasta los 470 Nm. Además, el preparador ofrece deslimitar el vehículo para poder alcanzar una velocidad máxima de 315 km/h. También incorpora una suspensión Öhlins y llantas de aleación de 19 pulgadas.
Junto a los cambios mecánicos, Alpha ofrece un kit de carrocería completo de fibra de carbono con paragolpes, capó rediseñado, tapa del maletero de nueva factura, pasos de rueda ensanchados, taloneras y difusor trasero, entre otras cosas. A nivel interior destaca la tapicería Fischer de alcántara y los asientos Recaro Sportster CS.
