Teniendo en cuenta los gustos europeos (dicen) Kia nos propone para el próximo 10 de septiembre una propuesta de segmento B diferente. Es un prototipo que sirve para tomar el pulso a los consumidores, pero no saldrá a producción y dará lugar a más prototipos. En otras palabras, un experimento.
El Niro Concept combina dimensiones exteriores compactas con una carrocería elevada, en plan crossover, fórmula a la que se agarran muchos fabricantes modernos. Entre sus características está la mecánica, de la que tendremos más información próximamente y de la que prometen que es innovadora.
Las pistas para diseñarlo han sido los entornos urbanos, el estilo, tenacidad, gustar a los conductores de nueva hornada, etc. Tiene varios elementos en acero inoxidable, lo que inevitablemente nos hace recordar al extinto DeLorean DMC-12. Tendrá cosas poco vistas en el segmento B, como las puertas de apertura en tijera.
