Se rumoreaba desde antes de Bélgica (20 de agosto) y finalmente se confirmó. Kimi Räikkönen regresa a Ferrari por un año más otro opcional, con lo que será el compañero de Fernando Alonso. El español tendrá, por primera vez en su carrera deportiva (14 temporadas), a otro campeón del mundo a su lado, pero lo mismo puede aplicarse al finlandés.
