El fabricante británico Jaguar anunció ayer que la producción de su buque insignia, el Jaguar XJ (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/berlinas-y-sedan/jaguar-xj), que se lleva a cabo en la planta de Castle Bromwich, se ha detenido hasta finales de la semana próxima por problemas en la cadena de suministros, aunque la marca no ha querido ofrecer información más detallada.
“Como medida temporal, Jaguar Land Rover ha detenido la línea producción del Jaguar XJ por problemas de suministros. La producción se retomará a finales de la próxima semana“ comentaba un portavoz de la compañía a la revista británica Autocar.
Otros modelos producidos en las mismas instalaciones de Jaguar Land Rover en Castle Bromwich, cerca de Birmingham, como el Jaguar XF (http://www.motorpasion.com/berlinas/jaguar-xf-2012-el-felino-se-afila-las-garras), el Jaguar XK (http://www.motorpasion.com/cabrio/el-renovado-jaguar-xk-a-la-venta-desde-104000-euros) o el Jaguar F-Type (http://www.motorpasion.com/deportivos/jaguar-f-type-2), no se verán afectados por este problema.
