Sentimos algo muy especial por el Chevy Corvette Stingray (http://www.motorpasion.com/chevrolet/2014-chevrolet-corvette-stingray), no podemos negarlo. Su potente V8 16v LT1 de 6,2 litros moviendo con agilidad un cuerpo esbelto y aligerado es uno de esos motivos por los que vale la pena el bicho, aunque se haga de rogar (http://www.motorpasion.com/chevrolet/comienzan-las-entregas-del-chevrolet-corvette-stingray) (¿o porque se hace de rogar?). No, de momento seguimos sin saber cuándo llegará a nuestro mercado, pero ya apunta maneras en Nürburgring (http://www.motorpasion.com/chevrolet/el-chevrolet-corvette-stingray-se-prepara-en-nurburgring-para-europa).
Para amenizar la espera, se nos ha ocurrido (en realidad se le ha ocurrido a Tony (http://www.motorpasion.com/usuario/tony_vet), pero nos apropiamos el mérito) que este es un buen momento para ver cómo se fabrica un Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, en un vídeo de brillante factura realizado en la planta de Bowling Green, en Kentucky:
Desde 1981, Bowling Green se ha encargado en exclusiva de sacar adelante el ‘Vette. Y ahora que el modelo anda por la séptima generación, con este Chevy Corvette Stingray el director de fábrica, Dave Tatman, se yergue de orgullo al hablar de la criatura. No le faltan motivos.
