La diversificación de gama de BMW está llevando a que las versiones Coupé pasen a tener denominación con número par. El primero en adoptar esa nueva entidad fue el BMW Serie 4 Coupé y en breve llegará el BMW Serie 2 Coupé que por naturaleza es el heredero del Serie 1 Coupé.
BMW ya ha hecho oficial la fecha en que debutará este nuevo modelo, el próximo 25 de octubre. Lo ha hecho a través de un vídeo que no es teaser ni es nada, porque el coche sólo se ve derrapando con la luz en contra y sin posibilidades de conocer cómo será su carrocería.
Después del debut el 25 de octubre del nuevo modelo, de la presentación oficial y las diferentes pruebas, pasados unos meses llegará seguro el debut del BMW Serie 2 Cabrio, que sustituirá al BMW Serie 1 Cabrio que tantas pasiones desata. Por lo poco que se puede ver en las fotos espía de Carscoops (http://www.carscoops.com/2013/05/spied-undisguised-bmw-m235i-coupe-shows.html), el coche no tiene mala pinta.
