Si hay un modelo de Mercedes-Benz que resulta especialmente interesante para compañías especializadas en preparaciones, ese es el Clase G (http://www.motorpasion.com/mercedes/mercedes-benz-clase-g-la-renovacion-de-un-mito), y qué mejor que la variante V8 biturbo para empezar con buen pie. En este caso es la firma German Special Customs quien mete mano al G 63 AMG.
Para empezar, el preparador ofrece un paquete estético que lo hace mucho menos discreto mediante diversos elementos en fibra de carbono, como los aditamentos para el capó o las cubiertas de los retrovisores o de la rueda de repuesto, nuevos paragolpes, luces LED de marcha diurna y enormes llantas de aleación de 23 pulgadas en color negro y en diseño de siete radios, que hacen parecer pequeños los discos de freno.
El 5.5 litros V8 biturbo que equipa el G 63 AMG, y que arroja de serie una potencia de 544 CV y un par máximo de 760 Nm, alcanza tras pasar por las manos de German Special Customs la friolera de 620 CV, gracias a cambios en la electrónica y a un nuevo sistema de escape. De transmitir esa potencia al asfalto se encargan enormes rodillos en dimensiones 305/35 R23.

Para terminar, la compañía alemana ofrece un interior a medida del usuario, que en este caso se compone de una tapicería en cuero rojo y negro con diferentes inserciones decorativas de fibra de carbono. Destaca también el velocímetro, que ahora marca 320 km/h.
