Se acerca ahora el momento de conocer el nuevo miembro de Les Légendes de Bugatti. ¿Que cuál es el nombre que podría llevar el nuevo deportivo a modo de homenaje? Rembrandt Bugatti. De momento se trata sólo de un rumor.
¿Quién fue Rembrandt Bugatti? Fue el hermano pequeño de Ettore Bugatti. Más allá de esto, a Rembrandt Bugatti se le recuerda como el creador de uno de los ornamentos de capó más singulares que existen: el elefante del Bugatti Type 41 Royale que vemos sobre estas líneas. Ahora, la firma alsaciana ha llevado al registro de patentes su nombre, lo cual le ha puesto encima el foco.
Al parecer, la solicitud de patente fue presentada por la oficina de propiedad intelectual de Audi que se encarga de Bugatti, y no hay noticias de que la marca tenga a punto de estreno un modelo nuevo, de manera que es más que posible que estemos ya ante el nombre del próximo Veyron de homenaje a las leyendas de la casa. Es cuestión de esperar para salir de dudas.
