Estos días está teniendo lugar el Dubai Motor Show, y ya podéis imaginaros el tipo de coches que allí se presentan. Premia el exceso, la exageración más inaudita, lo que nadie sólo ellos se querrían comprar. Y el mejor ejemplo lo tenemos en el Devel Sixteen.
¿De qué se trata? Pues básicamente es un hiperdeportivo que estará movido, si algún día llega a producirse, por un motor V16 que generará 5.000 caballos de potencia. Esta bestia será capaz, si consiguen que transmita tanta potencia al asfalto, de acelerar de 0 a 100 km/h en 1,8 segundos.
La velocidad máxima por su parte estará en línea con el resto de sus cifras, ya que alcanzará los 560 km/h. Por el momento hay poca información más sobre el, pero nos dicen nuestros contactos en Dubai que el coche ha despertado gran expectación y ya hay bastantes interesados en hacerse con uno.
Así pues, sólo queda esperar y ver cómo los chicos de Defining Extreme Vehicles Car Industry L.L.C, que así se llama la empresa con sede en Dubai, son capaces de hacer rodar semejante coche. Apostaría a que todo el proyecto se queda en nada, y si no tiempo al tiempo. Si me equivoco y algún día llega a producirse, al menos que me dejen retarle al volante de, por ejemplo, un Bugatti Veyron.
