ADAC podría comprar el circuito de Nürburgring

Las dificultades económicas del famosísimo circuito alemán de Nürburgring no son ningún secreto a estas alturas. Hace tiempo que supimos que estaba a la venta (http://www.motorpasion.com/otras-competiciones/nurburgring-esta-oficialmente-en-venta), e incluso escuchamos rumores sobre una posible compra por parte del magnate de la F1, Bernie Ecclestone, quien ahora debe estar más preocupado de sus problemas con la justicia que del mítico trazado de Eifel.
El periódico alemán Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) asegura que el club automovilístico alemán ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club) ha puesto sobre la mesa una oferta que no conlleva ningún compromiso por su parte. El precio de las instalaciones de Nürburgring, incluído el viejo Infierno Verde, se estima en unos 100 millones de euros.

Lars Soutschka, portavoz de ADAC, confirmaba la noticia: “Con esta oferta sin compromiso esperamos ganar acceso a las cuentas del circuito para así decidir cómo actuar“. ¿Estamos más cerca que ayer de que el Ring sea salvado? Esperemos que sí.
