Suzuki ha presentado en Tailandia un nuevo prototipo que anticipa un coche que fabricarán el año que viene en el mismo país, con vistas a la exportación. Se llama A-Wind Concept por ser del segmento A, y lo de “wind” (viento en inglés) por lo de traer aire fresco a dicho segmento.
Mide 3,6 metros de largo, con una batalla de 2.425 mm, promete ser muy espacioso, especialmente entre las plazas delanteras y traseras. En cuanto a motorización, será algo muy elemental, un 1.0 gasolina de potencia modesta y un cambio por variador contínuo (CVT). Las llantas serán menores en el modelo de producción, aquí tiene 185/55 R16.
Una de las premisas de su desarrollo es cumplir una normativa local tailandesa de coches ecológicos, como la kei car japonesa. Promete tener la capacidad de carga líder de su clase, aunque no hay aún cifras. Es posible que sea el sustituto del Suzuki Splash (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/utilitarios/suzuki-splash), pero aún no lo sabemos.
