Paul Walker, conocido por su interpretación del oficial Brian O’Conner en la saga ‘The Fast and the Furious (http://www.rfactor-sp.es/tag/the-fast-and-the-furious)‘, falleció ayer como consecuencia de un choque sufrido a bordo de un Porsche Carrera GT (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/superdeportivos/porsche-carrera-gt). Sucedió en la localidad de Santa Clarita, al norte de Los Ángeles, a las 15:30, hora local. El actor estaba allí porque participaba en un acto benéfico de la ONG Reach Out Worldwide (http://www.roww.org/).
Conducía un amigo suyo. Por causas que todavía se investigan el conductor se salió de la calzada con el vehículo y fue a chocar contra un árbol. Como consecuencia de la colisión el Porsche Carrera GT se incendió y ambos ocupantes murieron en el siniestro. Esta madrugada, su representante confirmaba la noticia a través del perfil oficial del actor en Twitter:

El actor tenía 40 años y una hija de 15. Walker participó en seis de las siete cintas de ‘The Fast and the Furious’. No apareció en la tercera entrega y, aunque ahora mismo continúa el rodaje de la séptima parte, que se estrenará en verano de 2014, no se ha esclarecido todavía si el intérprete de O’Conner había acabado de rodar sus secuencias.
