Hoy McLaren ha hecho oficial algo que muchos esperábamos (http://www.motorpasion.com/superdeportivos/el-mclaren-p1-podria-haber-rodado-en-6-47-en-nurburgring-nordschleife) como agua de mayo. Su superdeportivo McLaren P1 (http://www.motorpasion.com/superdeportivos/mclaren-p1-mas-de-un-millon-de-euros-y-mas-rapido-que-el-mclaren-f1) ha conseguido bajar de los 7 minutos en una vuelta al Nürburgring Nordschleife, consiguiendo entrar a formar parte así del exclusivo club de los coches capaz de batir esa impresionante marca.
Para conseguir el tiempo, que todavía no ha sido confirmado con exactitud por parte de la marca de Woking, el coche con especificaciones de calle había llegado rodando desde Inglaterra. Era todavía un prototipo en la última fase de pruebas. Lucía un color Supernova Silver y respondía al nombre de XP2R entre los muletos de pruebas.
Cuando el equipo de McLaren llegó al Norschléfie lo configuraron en el modo Race que además de desplegar el impresionante alerón trasero también reduce considerablemente la altura de la carrocería al suelo. El coche salió a pista y consiguió marcar una velocidad media de 178 km/h en los 20,8 kilómetros del trazado.
Lo hizo usando el DRS, haciendo un cambio de marcha cada seis segundos de media. Por el momento McLaren no ha dicho exactamente qué tiempo ha marcado su nuevo supercoche, pero merece la pena ver el video, subir el volumen y soñar que somos nosotros los que estamos al volante del McLaren P1.

Seguro que en unos días McLaren confirma de forma oficial el tiempo que han conseguido. Este tipo de bombazos mejor ir dándolos poco a poco que todo de golpe que nos podemos atragantar. ¿Habrán conseguido ese 6:47 que se rumoreaba hace unos días? Seguiremos informando…
