El francés Sebastién Ogier (Volkswagen) se impuso en el Rally de Montecarlo, primera prueba del Mundial de 2014, por delante de su compatriota Bryan Bouffier (Ford), y es el primer líder del campeonato. El campeón del mundo sacó una ventaja de 1:18.9 a Bouffier.
