http://img.motorpasion.com/2013/12/650_1000_polestar-volvo-v8-supercars-engine-2-1.jpg Si ayer (http://www.motorpasion.com/volvo/volvo-s60-y-v60-polestar-en-video-molan-mucho-mas) tocaba hablar de los Volvo S60 y V60 Polestar (http://www.motorpasion.com/volvo/volvo-s60-y-v60-polestar-2014), hoy toca hacerlo de Polestar Racing y su impresionante motor 5.0 que tienen ya a punto para el australiano Campeonato V8 Supercars de 2014, que tendrá su jornada de pruebas el próximo día 15 y la primera carrera los días 1 y 2 de marzo. Polestar Racing vuelve a la competición con dos Volvo S60 que ha preparado de forma concienzuda.
Del motor aspirado B8444S que montan, el primer V8 propio de la casa, ya dijimos todo lo decible en diciembre (http://www.motorpasion.com/volvo/asi-es-el-primer-v8-made-by-volvo-polestar), que es cuando se dieron a conocer sus principales datos técnicos. Ah, pero faltaban las cifras de par y potencia, y ya los tenemos: finalmente son 650 CV y 550 Nm. Y así es como suenan:
