http://img.motorpasion.com/2014/02/boceto-volkswagen-troc.jpg Otra primicia en el Salón de Ginebra va a ser el Volkswagen T-ROC, un prototipo de SUV 200 mm más corto que el Tiguan (http://www.motorpasion.com/volkswagen/volkswagen-tiguan-2011) y 200 mm más bajito, pero 300 mm más largo que el Taigun Concept (http://www.motorpasion.com/prototipos/volkswagen-taigun-nueva-version-para-el-prototipo). En otras palabras, mide casi 4,18 metros de largo, 1,83 metro de ancho y 1,50 metros de alto.
Es probable que anticipe un nuevo SUV para producción en serie. Está basado en la plataforma MQB y monta un 2.0 TDI de 184 CV con cambio DSG y tracción total 4Motion. Dicha tecnología ya está en la calle, por ejemplo en el Golf GTD (http://www.motorpasion.com/compactos/volkswagen-golf-gtd-2013-la-opcion-diesel-mas-deportiva-de-volkswagen-en-ginebra). Tiene tres puertas y cuatro plazas. ¿Nuevo rival para el Juke?
Este SUV tiene un techo parecido un Targa, se pueden remover dos partes y almacenarla en el maletero. El peso es contenido, 1.420 kg, y calza unas ruedas imponentes, 245/45 R19. En el interior cuenta con instrumentación digital y una pantalla central de 12,3 pulgadas.
Por dentro, el T-ROC nos da pistas de cómo puede ser el interior de los Volkswagen a medio plazo. La pantalla central es táctil y admite gestos como el un teléfono de última generación. Dispone de tres modos de conducción (Calle, off-road y nieve) y visión periférica (360 º) a través de la pantalla para evitar obstáculos.
