Era de esperar. Alguien tenía que hacerlo y lo ha hecho. Nada de kits estéticos montados después de pasar por la caja de Chevrolet y pensar que tienes un Chevrolet Camaro. Classic Design Concepts pondrá a la venta, en serie, su última creación basada en el clásico Pontiac Firebird, primo hermano del Camaro en los tiempos de gloria de los muscle cars.
Se trata del Firebreather y como vemos, el exterior es como probablemente fuese la reencarnación del Pontiac Firebird si General Motors no se hubiese deshecho de la marca. Morro con el característico pico, luces trasera al estilo Pontiac y unos toques de macarrismo puro y duro que harán babear a más de uno.
Además, para rizar el rizo añaden toques al motor V8 6.2 para que entregue la nada despreciable cifra de 599 CV, muy por encima de la potencia declarada por el Chevrolet Camaro de serie. No es un Pontiac, no es un Firebird, pero estoy seguro que algún adinerado con ganas de ver de vuelta al Pájaro de Fuego estará calentando la tarjeta para llevarse alguna unidad a su garaje.
