En septiembre de 2009 publicamos en Motorpasión las primeras imágenes oficiales (http://www.motorpasion.com/superdeportivos/mclaren-mp4-12c-datos-e-imagenes-oficiales) del McLaren MP4-12C, el superdeportivo encargado de devolver a la marca de Woking al mundo de los coches de calle. Desde entonces mucho más se ha escrito sobre él, comenzamos a hablar de prestaciones en marzo (http://www.motorpasion.com/superdeportivos/mclaren-mp4-12c-todo-lo-que-debemos-saber-sobre-el-y-nuevas-imagenes) de 2010 y ahora, un año después ya tenemos los datos oficiales completos.
A principios de marzo podremos conocer en persona el nuevo McLaren MP4-12C (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/superdeportivos/mclaren-mp4-12c), pero mientras tanto nos van poniendo la miel en los labios con sus espectaculares prestaciones y datos ya oficiales. Vayamos por partes, como decía Jack “El Destripador”, porque el McLaren MP4-12C da para mucho.
Comencemos por un dato básico y de vital importancia para un superdeportivo, el peso. El objetivo era quedarse en torno a los 1.300 kilos de peso, muy poco si lo comparamos con los 1.560 que pesa un Ferrari 458 Italia (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/deportivos/ferrari-458-italia) o los 1.695 del Mercedes SLS AMG (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/deportivos/mercedes-sls-amg). El peso oficial es 1.336 kilos, pero si lo montamos con todas las piezas opcionales de fibra de carbono y bajo peso, conseguiremos que el peso baje hasta los 1.301 kilos.

La velocidad punta es buena, ni más ni menos que 330 km/h. Y lo mejor es que acelera de 0 a 100 km/h en solo 3,3 segundos, una cifra que baja hasta los 3,1 segundos si se montan los neumáticos de competición opcionales. La aceleración se mantiene contundente y progresiva hasta los 200 km/h, porque los alcanza en 9,1 segundos, cifra que baja hasta los 8,9 segundos con los citados neumáticos opcionales.
Son cifras que indican el potencial del McLaren MP4-12C, sus 600 caballos y 600 Nm de par. Pero todavía hay más. El cuarto de milla o 400 metros desde parado los hace en solo 10,9 segundos y lo alcanza a una velocidad de 216 km/h. Si nos fijamos en el 0 a 1000 metros, el tiempo que tarda son 19,6 segundos y la velocidad es de 272 km/h.
Pero si es capaz de acelerar tanto, también hay que poder frenar rápido y de forma efectiva. Para ello recurre a un equipo de frenos que de serie está formado por discos de aluminio forjado y hierro fundido con un diámetro de 370 mm y 350 mm en los ejes delantero y trasero respectivamente.

El McLaren MP4-12C es capaz de pasar de 200 a 0 km/h en solo 123 metros, y de 100 a 0 km/h en 30,5 metros. Aunque creo que no es un dato importante ni en el que se vaya a fijar nadie que se compre un coche como este, los consumos que anuncia McLaren son bastante discretos, ya que se queda en solo 11,7 l/100 km y las emisiones de CO2 en 279 g/km.
El día 4 de marzo tenemos una cita con el McLaren MP4-12C, un primer encuentro con un coche que estoy convencido despertará pasiones cuando llegue a España y Portugal de la mano del Grupo Guarnieri. Y Motorpasión estará allí para poderos ofrecer las primeras imágenes propias del nuevo coche, así como las primeras impresiones después de conocerlo, tocarlo y sentirlo.
Será una toma de contacto estática con una unidad de pre-serie en la que conoceremos de mano de Christian Marti, Director Regional de McLaren Automotive y Mario Guarnieri, Consejero Delegado de Grupo Guarnieri, los detalles del acuerdo alcanzado entre McLaren Automotive y el Grupo Guarnieri, los planes de expansión de McLaren Automotive en el mercado español y portugués y toda la historia del nuevo McLaren MP4-12C.
Queda mucho por escribir, ver y hablar sobre el McLaren MP4-12C y tengo la corazonada de que la prueba de este nuevo supercoche está cada día más cerca. Tiempo al tiempo…

En septiembre de 2009 publicamos en Motorpasión las primeras imágenes oficiales (http://www.motorpasion.com/superdeportivos/mclaren-mp4-12c-datos-e-imagenes-oficiales) del McLaren MP4-12C, el superdeportivo encargado de devolver a la marca de Woking al mundo de los coches de calle. Desde entonces mucho más se ha escrito sobre él, comenzamos a hablar de prestaciones en marzo (http://www.motorpasion.com/superdeportivos/mclaren-mp4-12c-todo-lo-que-debemos-saber-sobre-el-y-nuevas-imagenes) de 2010 y ahora, un año después ya tenemos los datos oficiales completos.
A principios de marzo podremos conocer en persona el nuevo McLaren MP4-12C (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/superdeportivos/mclaren-mp4-12c), pero mientras tanto nos van poniendo la miel en los labios con sus espectaculares prestaciones y datos ya oficiales. Vayamos por partes, como decía Jack “El Destripador”, porque el McLaren MP4-12C da para mucho.
Comencemos por un dato básico y de vital importancia para un superdeportivo, el peso. El objetivo era quedarse en torno a los 1.300 kilos de peso, muy poco si lo comparamos con los 1.560 que pesa un Ferrari 458 Italia (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/deportivos/ferrari-458-italia) o los 1.695 del Mercedes SLS AMG (http://www.motorpasion.com/coches/deportivos/mercedes-sls-amg). El peso oficial es 1.336 kilos, pero si lo montamos con todas las piezas opcionales de fibra de carbono y bajo peso, conseguiremos que el peso baje hasta los 1.301 kilos.

La velocidad punta es buena, ni más ni menos que 330 km/h. Y lo mejor es que acelera de 0 a 100 km/h en solo 3,3 segundos, una cifra que baja hasta los 3,1 segundos si se montan los neumáticos de competición opcionales. La aceleración se mantiene contundente y progresiva hasta los 200 km/h, porque los alcanza en 9,1 segundos, cifra que baja hasta los 8,9 segundos con los citados neumáticos opcionales.
Son cifras que indican el potencial del McLaren MP4-12C, sus 600 caballos y 600 Nm de par. Pero todavía hay más. El cuarto de milla o 400 metros desde parado los hace en solo 10,9 segundos y lo alcanza a una velocidad de 216 km/h. Si nos fijamos en el 0 a 1000 metros, el tiempo que tarda son 19,6 segundos y la velocidad es de 272 km/h.
Pero si es capaz de acelerar tanto, también hay que poder frenar rápido y de forma efectiva. Para ello recurre a un equipo de frenos que de serie está formado por discos de aluminio forjado y hierro fundido con un diámetro de 370 mm y 350 mm en los ejes delantero y trasero respectivamente.

El McLaren MP4-12C es capaz de pasar de 200 a 0 km/h en solo 123 metros, y de 100 a 0 km/h en 30,5 metros. Aunque creo que no es un dato importante ni en el que se vaya a fijar nadie que se compre un coche como este, los consumos que anuncia McLaren son bastante discretos, ya que se queda en solo 11,7 l/100 km y las emisiones de CO2 en 279 g/km.
El día 4 de marzo tenemos una cita con el McLaren MP4-12C, un primer encuentro con un coche que estoy convencido despertará pasiones cuando llegue a España y Portugal de la mano del Grupo Guarnieri. Y Motorpasión estará allí para poderos ofrecer las primeras imágenes propias del nuevo coche, así como las primeras impresiones después de conocerlo, tocarlo y sentirlo.
Será una toma de contacto estática con una unidad de pre-serie en la que conoceremos de mano de Christian Marti, Director Regional de McLaren Automotive y Mario Guarnieri, Consejero Delegado de Grupo Guarnieri, los detalles del acuerdo alcanzado entre McLaren Automotive y el Grupo Guarnieri, los planes de expansión de McLaren Automotive en el mercado español y portugués y toda la historia del nuevo McLaren MP4-12C.
Queda mucho por escribir, ver y hablar sobre el McLaren MP4-12C y tengo la corazonada de que la prueba de este nuevo supercoche está cada día más cerca. Tiempo al tiempo…
